I finally got Wisdom!  I love this one!  She will be setting next to Quest!  I haven't gotten any angels/figurines for quite a while. I was over at the Family Christian Store to get a nativity set for my grandson and thought....what the heck...and bought it!

Finally I am back to adding to my Willow Tree Collection!  I haven't bought a Willow Tree in months...I've just had so much stuff going on that it got put on the back burner!  My purchase was  Good Health!  I've been wanting her for a while for some reason I just love the Willow Trees that have some color to them! She sure fits the bill.  Hopefully my next purchase will be Wisdom.  Another one with color to her!

Remembrance Keepsake Box

I love this box because the angel this was made from was one of my very first Willow Trees.  I bought the angel in honor of my mother who passed away in 1972.  I also bought the more recent Remembrance Angel in honor of my father who passed away in 1997.  So this box to me is very special, I keep some of my special rosaries in it. I just love the keepsake boxes!  I would like to get the Thank You box one of these days just because of the purple flowers!  Purple is my favorite color!

I really like these little boxes!  This box is used to keep my rosaries. They are so functional yet pretty!  They have little sayings at the bottom of the boxes.  Each one is unique. I really like this one since it matches the Together and Promise figurines and the Embrace plaque.

I got this plaque from my hubby for my birthday along with Happiness.  I've hung it on the wall near my Promise and Together figurines.  I just love these plaques but this is the only one I have.  Not sure why that is except that I'm on a quest to own EVERY Willow Tree I can find!  I really don't know why I am so enamored by these beautiful figurines but I can't get enough of them!  I would love to purchase on of the new music box figurines.  I think they are beautiful!

Serenity Box

Since I not only collect the figurines I also collect the Willow Tree Boxes, one of my first boxes was this one.  I love the Serenity Prayer anyway, and I do have the Serenity figurine I use this box to keep some of my jewelry.  It's a pretty good size as far as boxes go.  I just think they are so pretty.

Can't Believe It!

 This is an unusual post....no new Willow Tree figurines or angels!  I haven't gotten a new figurine/angel for awhile.  I usually buy one or two each pay day but I didn't do that is time....I guess you could say I'm taking a break!  Of course I will have to make up for it in the future.   I really don't have that many figurines/angels left to collect, I will then be forced to wait till Susan creates new ones, or seek out really old ones that I have missed and wanted.  I do know that when I get my next one it will either be Wisdom or Good Health.  I will have to keep my eye on eBay a little closer to get the best deals.

Another great purchase on eBay.  I got this one for as much as I normally pay for an angel!!!  It was an acution on ebay something I NEVER do it just so happened I was just checking out other Willow Tree figurines and I noticed that this one was about 1 minute until the auction was over and there were no bidders...so I bid and won I got Quest for $14!!!  Now talk about a steal!  And this is another seller on eBay that I will be watching very closely. I ususally only use "buy now" with free shipping. But as I said it was a total steal!!!! I got this one because it reminds me of my hubby, he always has his nose in a book!

Brother and Sister

I've been wanting this figurine since it came out.  It reminds me of my brother and myself.  I got it from my favorite seller on eBay.  It was a steal because I had eBay bucks I ended up paying only $20 for it!  eBay is awesome!  I got it on Friday she is a super fast shipper.  She is on the east coast and I'm in the mid-west.  I LOVE this seller!

And the next angel to my collection is.....You're The Best!  I've lost count on how many Willow Tree figurines and angels I have, I do know that just in my living room I have 44 of them!!  I think I might get the figurine Wisdom and the Angel of Good Health next week since I have a BOGO 1/2 off at the Family Christian Bookstore.  They don't have a big selection of Willow Trees but they do have the ones I want and I always have a coupon for them...I NEVER pay full price for them!  I would say I am a pretty smart shopper and eBay helps out tremendously because I get them for less than what I pay at the bookstore plus no shipping I just can't beat that!

The Quest

Well eBay did it to me again!!!  I've been wanting "The Quest" and I saw an auction and had to jump on it!  I got it for 14.95!!!  That is what I pay for my angels!!!  I really would have kicked myself if I would have passed this one up!!! I don't usually do auctions I prefer the "Buy It Now" (I need my instant gratification).  The biggest reason that I wanted this figurine is my hubby is a ravenous reader he devours books like crazy and this figurine so reminded me of him....the figurine is sitting on a stack of books, has a book between his feet as he is reading a book.  This is SO him!

My youngest niece Sydney has graduated high school so I went to get her of course....a Willow Tree figurine and had to pick one up for me as well....I got her Surrounded by Love and Love of Learning for myself!   I saw Wisdom and I think that might just be my next purchase!!  Hope she likes Surrounded by Love as much as I do...she is my favorite!!

I purchased this angel along with the Angel of Miracles from eBay.  What a great place to get Willow Tree figurines I can sometimes them for a lot less than I could buying them locally.  Heck buy the time you add tax on you can pay upwards of $16.00,  I got these two angels for $12.60 a piece with free shipping!  Not a bad idea! I ordered the figurines on Thursday and they arrived on Monday!  Totally Awesome!

Another purchase from eBay....I got her and Angel of  Harmony on Monday.  Of course they are beautiful!!  The  Angel of  Miracles is on banded knee, with a chick that has just hatched!  I love this one just for the simple fact she has a chick!  We have chickens out behind our dental office for patients to watch, so the baby chick is meaningful to me, since I'm the one that takes care of the chickens.

I've been shopping again!  I had a 30% off my purchase at Parable so I used it to get the Angel of Freedom!  Of course she is totally beautiful and she reminds me of the bible study I'm doing now it's called Breaking Free by Beth Moore. I really wanted to get the brother and sister figurine but they didn't have it.  I will get that one eventually.  I don't mind getting all of the angels I want first.  I am soooooo addicted!

This was another angel that I had gotten several years ago but she is so pretty!  She carries a long stem red rose.  I just love the colors next to the neutral background.  I have her displayed with Angel of the Heart and the tall Angel of the Heart.

I just received my Angel of the Kitchen!!  She is beautiful!  I bought her off of eBay and had some trouble getting her to me I ordered her on May 28th and never did get it.  I contacted the seller and she was of NO help so I ended starting a case.  That got her to moving!!!  I got the angel within 2 days!  Why can't people do the right thing?

The Angel of Christmas Spirit, was a gift from my hubby on Christmas, he always knows what to get me for all occasions!  He knows he can't go wrong with a gift of Willow Tree!  One size fits all!!!  She is a tall angel I think I have a few of the tall angels in my ever growing collection.  I know that I don't have too many Willow Trees because I still have an antique curved glass curio cabinet that I've only just begun to fill!!! (Once that is filled I will buy another curio cabinet!)

I got this figurine from my hubby for one of my anniversaries.  I LOVE this piece!  I hope Susan Lordi does more pieces with the husband/wife theme.  They are just beautiful!  I love the fact that this figurine comes in a cake topper!  I would have definitely used it for my wedding cake!

Kindness - Boy

I finally got the match to the Kindness (girl) figurine!  He is so sweet!  He reminds me of my 3yr old grandson Parker!  The two figurines look really great together one with a dog and one with a cat (of course the girl with the cat is my favorite since I just LOVE cats!).  Dogs are wonderful as well, I had two Scottish Terriers that I just adored.  We had to put the last one down two years ago, I sure miss Cody!! We talk about him all the time!
Anyway...I'm still waiting for my Angel of the Kitchen to arrive, I ordered it BEFORE I ordered Kindness.  I went back to look at the comments for the the ebayer who sold me the angel and I guess I should have read that FIRST many people were not satisfied with her slow shipping and her lack of communication!  Guess that won't happen again! No a good business practice!!!!

My husband bought this figurine for me it was for one of our anniversary's I just love it!  He also bought me Promise as an anniversary gift as well.  I just wish that we could have had Promise as a cake topper!  Oh well, maybe we can use it for our 25th!

People get this angel and the figurine mixed up all the time!  There was an Angel of Happiness then there is the figurine Happiness (she is the one with the blue birds on her out stretched arms. The angel is one of those old girls....one of my firsts!  She has a place of honor up in my curio cabinet!

Angel of Patience another one of the those "firsts"!!  I love her blond hair I think that is one of the reasons that I bought it!!!  She reminds me of my niece Sydney.  That girl is very patient, especially when it comes to her animals....she loves them and they love her!  She used to read books to my Scottish Terrier Missy....Missy just loved the attention and she even looked like she loved to be read too!

Angel of Prayer is an older angel one of my "firsts".  I've had her since 2001 - 2002 I can't really remember!  She is so precious.  I have put her with Angel of Hope on a shelf in my living room. I really don't have many of the angels that aren't standing, she makes a nice addition!

I couldn't make up my mind I went to the Family Christian Bookstore, I wanted the brother and sister figurine but they didn't have it so I had to pick another one....it was a toss up between what I got and the father/daughter figurine. I really wanted the Closer to Me I had picked this one out a long time ago and I'm glad I got it was surprised when I took it out of the box their dresses are carved out with vines and flowers.  They sure are pretty! It reminds me of my daughter and I.  So I made the right choice!!

Welcoming Angel is a tall angel, she is holding a pineapple the sign of welcome.  I have her standing on my computer desk as you walk into my living room.....welcoming all who enter!  I have had her for several years and NEVER get tired of looking at her.  I really like the tall angels I hope Susan Lordi will do more tall angels in the future!

Of course Thank You is another angel that I just love because of the color!  She is holding purple flowers behind her back.  I bought this one the minute she came out!  She is has been one of my favorite angels!!!  I love her hair as well as it falls down the front of her dress in a loose braid.  I probably wouldn't have called her Thank You but she sure is pretty!

Heart of Gold was a Christmas present from my daughter along with Keepsake.  I display them together.  I love when Susan Lordi does male figurines/angels.  They are so unique since most people think of angels as females. I guess it would be the wings that make us think of angels being feminine. I just ordered Kindness (male) from eBay it will go with my Kindness (female).  I would love to see more male figurines/angels in the future since I have a grandson myself!

Keepsake is a beautiful figurine.  I like her hair, she is wearing it exactly like my Grandmother wore her hair so this piece is very special to me.  My daughter gave it to me for Christmas a few years ago she also bought me the matching boy figurine Heart of Gold. I display them together.

I got this angel a couple of years ago.  She is holding a gray bird.  She seems so gentle, the way she is caring for the bird in her hand.  She is standing just below my favorite  prayer, the Serenity prayer plaque I got a couple of months ago.  I think they go so well together!

I got this angel from a friend, I had helped out and she got this for me as a thank you.  I really like her, she always reminds me of my friend.  She holds a wire circle with the words "Thank You".  What a nice gift she is for someone that has help you out.

As with the previous angels this one is an ornament, I just love her little shovel that she leans on.  This angel I have thought I should get her in a bigger size just because I like her so much.  Who knows...I might get it.  I have so many that I want.

This is another one of the Angels that is an ornament, I just love her!  She is holding a golden bulb and it moves, I think that is why I really like this Willow Tree.  The movement of the bulb makes it unique.  She mixes in really well with my other angels.

This angel is an ornament that I bought a few years ago.  I don't use her as an ornament I took the jute tie off and use her as a small angel.  I did this with two other angels.  The Angel of Wonder, and The Angel of the Garden.   They look great mixed in with the bigger angels!  At the time I didn't have a lot of room for them so I got the ornaments because they just worked where I wanted to put them.

 she is holding a lantern, a beacon of light.  There could be many interpretations of this angel.  She reminds me that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

My daughter bought this Willow Tree for me, I got her for Christmas one year.  I like the metal house that she is holding.  I like the figurines that have "extras".  My house is your house, that says it all.  This Willow Tree would be great to give someone that has just moved into their first house.

This Willow Tree figurine goes really well with the Nativity, I love her soft green dress, she is holding a lamb.  I put her with my Nativity and she really fits in well.  I would love to get the Three Wise Men one of these days and they have some animals and a Shepard as well....as I've said before I will have all of them!

I was out shopping again...I bought the figurine "Blessings"  I love the headband she is wearing and her hair is so pretty.  I really can't tell if she is ethnic or not her hair reminds me of it....either way she is beautiful!  My next purchase will probably another angel....alternating seem like a good idea!  I thinking about getting "Good Health" just because I love the color of the apples next to the neutral colored background.

The last of the 3 Blessings....Love she is beautiful (of course they are all beautiful) she is holding a single red long stem rose, again the color against the neutral background is striking!  There is a smaller Willow Tree Angel called  "Loving Angel" that looks just like her except for the hair, of course I've put those two together!

Peace is one of the 3 blessings, she is holding a gray bird, maybe it's a dove. There is something quite about her, I guess you could say she is peaceful hence her name.....Thank God her was not injured since she was stand near Joy when she had her accident!  As I add more Willow Tree figurines I'm sure she will be spending her time with her sisters Love and Joy in the curio cabinet upstairs.

Joy is one of the 3 blessings....I bought them together, but I will feature them separately.  Joy is the one who lost her head in an accident, she was on my computer desk when it got knocked by my 3 cats that were playing chase. I did get her head glued back on but she has a small chip out of hair in the front but she has been retired to my curio cabinet upstairs in my bedroom of safe keeping.  (All injured Willow Trees go upstairs to the curio cabinet to heal...)

This figurine was bought because my stepson joined the Marines in June of 08.  He did one tour in Afghanistan and I hope he never has to go to that part of the world again!  He is my hubby's only child and to watch my hubby worry the whole time he was over there (he was there about 8 months) was not a pretty picture he was always on guard, now that he's back home my hubby is back to his normal self.  That was not a fun 8 months for any of us but thank God, he came home in one piece!  So this figurine is dedicated to Jesse!

I got this figurine a few years ago, what I liked about it was the wire flowers that she holds. I put her with Remember and Friendship because all three of them are carrying wire flowers.  They really look good together and you could use them as a mother/daughter theme.

Angel of the Heart Tall

Angel of the Heart tall is so beautiful!  I love her graceful curve.  I love the tall angels/figurines, they looks so great mixed with smaller ones.  You can create vignettes with them.  Like the "Love" theme I have going on with this angel and the smaller Angel of the Heart and Loving Angel.  I think that's whats so great about the Willow Trees...You can group them together to form families or themes.

I still love the "Angel of the Heart"  she was one of my "firsts" I display her with my tall Angel of my Heart and my Loving Angel.  I love the colors that Susan Lordi uses against the neutral background of the angels.  The deep red of heart looks so good against the cream color dresses of the angels/figurines.  I think Susan should do more angels/figurines with color in them.

I've been at it again.....I finally got A Tree A Prayer Angel....I've been wanting her for quite a while so I just gave in and got her.  She is so beautiful!  I love the pattern that is on her dress.  I really like the angels/figurines that have the patterns carved in them I would love to see more like these...Are you listening Susan Lordi?????

My Angel of Grace was the first ethnic angel I purchased.  She is beautiful as her name states she is full of grace!
I believe to date that there are only 3 ethnic Willow Tree Angels/Figurines I own two of them this one and the Angel of the Spirit.  The other one is With Love (I will own this one too!).

This Angel was one of my "firsts" I had to have her she is hold a cat!!  I have three cats....Chloe is my Seal Point Siamese and is my FAVORITE!  The other two are strays and they tend to gravitate to my husband which is a good thing since I'm allergic to both of them!  Cricket is an black cat, he is very petite, but he is the boss around here!  Just ask him he will tell you he is the alpha male!  The other cat is a crazy cat....Doc he is every color and pattern you could imagine he must have some Siamese in him because he has the same beautiful blue eyes as Chloe. He is a huge cat he is about 22lbs and is scared of Cricket!!  Chloe is fascinated by him but really doesn't care for him....of course she is the princess around here.
